2023 Elections

Tami Hill, Vice President of Labor Relations
I have been with Lane for twelve years. November 2009 to June 2014 and July 2016 to present. In my employment with Lane, I have held positions as an administrative specialist, project coordinator, instructional coordinator specialist, and confidential employee (executive assistant to the president). I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services from Purdue University. Earning this degree has strengthened my skills in problem identification, plan of action, remediation of problems, and cultural awareness.
I'm running for the Vice President of Labor Relations position because I started as a classified employee and became a confidential employee (management status). Now I'm back as a classified employee, and I'm as frustrated as ever and am here to fight for you!

Zack Roush, Elections Committee
My name is Zack Roush, I am running for the LCCEF Elections Committee.
I have been an employee at LCC since 2016. I started as a LETS student worker in Instructional Testing Services, before I moved to working in the Maxwell Student Veteran Center as a part-time Administrative Specialist. In 2021 I moved into my current role as a full-time Recruitment Analyst in HR.
Prior to working at Lane, I had been an infantryman in the army for 3.5 years, and then a barista at Starbucks for 2 years following my discharge while I attended college. I received my AAOT from Lane in 2016 and my B.S. in Social Science from the University of Oregon in 2018.
In my free time I am an avid outdoorsman. I (along with my wife, Kirsten, and our two dogs, Boba and Obi) enjoy golfing, fishing, and camping in the spring and summer, hunting and crabbing in the fall, skiing in the winter, and hiking the many trails of Oregon year-round.
When I’m not outdoors, I enjoy playing music. I have been a bassist and guitarist in a few bands in the area over the years, and it’s always fun when I get to make music with some good friends.
I have the utmost appreciation for the good work our past Elections Committees have performed, and I hope to add my contribution to those efforts to continue providing excellent service to our membership.

Claire Graman, Communications Officer
I started at LCC in April 2022 as a 1039 (a writing tutor) and moved to my current position on the Marketing team in May 2023, where I help manage our website, social media, and email communications. Before LCC, I attended grad school at UO to study English/Cinema Studies. While at UO, I was proud to take part in the GTFF strike in 2014.
With a background in writing and teaching, I approach communications from a place of empathy and accessibility. What do people want to know? What's the easiest way for them to get that information? How do we make the mundane or intimidating aspects of union work engaging? As Communications Officer, I'd like to bring consistency and simplicity to our essential messages (like when and where our bargaining meetings are), while also fostering a sense of community and camaraderie (by making use of Facebook and Slack).
In my personal life, you can find me cooking or baking, thrift-shopping with my partner on the weekends, watching an old movie, or playing a retro video game.
