Members received the following one-sheets in an email on Thursday, September 10, and we wanted to share them here as well. They lay out the details for the three proposed constitutional amendments you will be voting on, and will hopefully answer any questions you may have. If you have additional questions, please attend the information session listed below, or leave your questions in the comments.

On the last one, it does not name the second vice president. It says ‘the’ vice president elsewhere and I think it might have been helpful to clearly define the titles of both vice presidents who apparently have equal authority to sign, based on this new amendment. Is that correct?

Hi Tracy,
Thanks for your question. This amendment would change this portion of the constitution from “the vice president may sign…” to “either vice president may sign…” since we now have two VPs. Earlier in the constitution, we’ve outlined both VP roles so we didn’t want to clutter up every later reference to the VPs with in-depth descriptions of each role.
Did that answer your question or did I misunderstand? Any other thoughts?
