The Lane Community College Board of Education will hold a special meeting to discuss budget and tuition, on Monday, April 1, at 4 p.m. in Building 19, Room 104, main campus. For information contact the President’s Office at ext. 5200.
Board Packet is attached below. Among the budget information on page 4 you may notice that Barnes & Noble is back and closing the Health Clinic has been added.
Public comment starts at 4pm. If you have an opinion, this is an important meeting to be a part of.
LCCEF President, Robin Geyer, will be there in support of our classified staff bringing some good points such as an Oregon law that outlines requirements for a public institution who wants to outsource, a question about where savings come from when there are classified staff that must be moved to comparable positions and why B&N is even back after being voted down at the last board meeting.
