The agenda for the bargaining meeting last week was to cover non-economic Plus 1 items. In economic re-openers, the LCCEF and the college are both allowed a non-economic Plus 1 item.
- The LCCEF’s Plus 1 is removing some of the language around C3 employees not being able to apply for internally posted positions. Details will follow as we get the language figured out.
- The college originally proposed the work around the Pay Equity Act, but they have not fully formed their thoughts on that yet.
We also discussed contract language around Janus. With the passing of Janus last year we need to pull the language out of our contract surrounding Fair Share members.
The meeting ended with a discussion about reporting of new hires and separations.
The meeting that would normally happen this Friday has been cancelled due to Spring Break, so the next meeting will be on 4/5/2019 in Center 303 from 1:00 – 3:00pm. All members are welcome as silent observers.
