Bargaining and union information as of 4/3/18
The College received a rate increase of 12.4% from PacificSource for health insurance premiums. The College requested that the Classified Staff explore the costs and coverage of OEBB Insurance. At this time, there is no plan to switch from PacificSource Insurance to OEBB Insurance. OEBB is administered by MODA. Both Insurance Companies are being invited to campus so staff can obtain information to compare and contrast the two Companies. These are information presentations for members to ask questions about benefits and plans. This is the beginning of the discovery stage in this process. Please plan to attend with any questions you may have about coverage, plans and costs.
To help with the comparison process the Bargaining Team Insurance Subcommittee is putting together a comparison tool that will be posted to lccef.org when it is ready. Stay tuned.
MODA (OEBB) will be on campus to share their information on Wednesday, April 11 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM and again from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Both sessions will be in Building 17 (Forum) room 309. Information will be forthcoming on the scheduled presentation for PacificSource.
